ABOUT AARDO

African - Asian Rural Development Organization (AARDO) [earlier known as Afro-Asian Rural Development Organization], formed in 1962, is an autonomous inter-governmental organisation comprising thirty one members from Africa and Asia. AARDO is devoted to develop understanding among members for better appreciation of each others' problems and to explore, collectively, opportunities for coordination of efforts for promoting welfare and eradication of thirst, hunger, illiteracy, disease and poverty amongst rural people. The 68th Session of AARDO Executive Committee was held at Westin Hotel, Dhaka on 19-21 January 2017 at the kind invitation of the esteemed Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.
