ASSISTANT SECRETARY GENERAL



Mr. Rami Qtaishat, who hails from Jordan, took over the charge of the office of the Assistant Secretary General of AARDO on 11 March 2022, after having been elected by the 73rd Session of AARDO Executive Committee, held in New Delhi, India during 06-07 December 2021. Prior to his appointment as the Assistant Secretary General, he worked with The Royal Hashemite Court (RHC), where he was entrusted with conducting research analysis, following-up of the projects, preparing implementation reports and impact analysis of the poverty alleviation projects implemented under the “Initiatives of His Majesty King Abdullah II of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan” in different pocket of the country.

Also, he supervised team of PR & media production professionals, to enhance productivity of organization. As a director/manager, his role was to observe the current issues, writing and designing daily media digest and forwarding reports to the (chief) Executive Director. Also, preparing and organizing plans, press strategies, and messages as a team leader for domestic as well as international official events of His Majesty King Abdullah II.

He is a results-driven professional with extensive experience in providing creative solutions and superior execution for gaining client confidence and trust to solve problem and develop customized solutions. He demonstrated excellence in conducting several audio-visual interviews with high ranking officials, international high ranking officials, and politicians. He is instrumental in developing approaches and planning of activities to facilitate international cooperation with international institutions.

Further, he holds master’s degree in International Law from Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom, and bachelor’s degree in Law from University of Jordan. As well as he is fluent in two of the three official languages of AARDO, namely, Arabic and English. With his rich experience in planning and execution of rural development projects and programs and strategic leadership skills, along with his law background, AARDO will be benefiting from his professional skills in further strengthening its policies and programmes, in view of the AARDO’s Strategic Framework - road map for 2030
